How To Become a Volunteer

Without volunteers, community sport cannot function. There are many opportunities to volunteer in community sport – and it doesn’t always mean being part of a committee or an on-field role. Some off-field examples might be:

          – Social media
          – Fundraising and sponsorship initiatives
          – First aid
          – Maintaining Equipment
          – Maintenance/cleaning
          – Canteen support

Getting involved in volunteering also provides you with benefits. Connection with your local community, forming new relationships and feeling a sense of belonging.
